Chipotle，全称Chipotle Mexican Grill，是美国最大的墨西哥快餐连锁品牌，但好像还没进入中国市场。网上看到有老外“举报”说在上海发现了Chipotle的山寨版。

直到2014年，这家快餐巨头还在研究进入中国市场的策略和时机，但从2015年起，Chipotle就被多次爆出食品卫生的丑闻。

2015年11月1日，《福布斯》报道Three people in Oregon and 19 people in Washington fell ill earlier this month. Eight have been hospitalized and, fortunately, no deaths have been reported.

这些顾客疑似在Chipotle就餐后出现了上述症状。

事发后，Chipotle立即采取了措施——关店。

Chris Arnold, a spokesperson for the restaurant, said, “We immediately closed all of our restaurants in the area out of an abundance of caution, even though the vast majority of these restaurants have no reported problems.” This accounts for 43 locations out of the total 1,700 nationwide.

俄勒冈卫生部门随后认为受影响人数可能远多于上述就医人数。。

The association （指俄勒冈卫生部门）warns those who have patronized Chipotle in Washington and Oregon between October 14 and 23 to visit their health provider if they are exhibiting symptoms of an infection, particularly vomiting and bloody diarrhea.

此事对Chipotle股价造成了立竿见影的恶劣影响。

2017年7月18日，Business Insider报道，多名顾客称在弗吉尼亚州Sterling的Chipotel用餐后生病，Chipotel随即关闭了那家餐厅。

2017年7月21日《财富》网报道，Chipotel又出问题了。这次是有人在Chipotel的达拉斯店里看到有老鼠乱窜。
