中国共享单车公司ofo宣布8月31日正式撤出西雅图，并于45日内将押金退回用户。

据GeekWire报道，ofo方面称西雅图市今年七月通过的一项法案要求共享单车企业每年支付25万美元经营许可费（$250,000 annual permit fee），这项法案是ofo决定退出西雅图市场的主要原因。但ofo已在美国多个城市关停业务，裁减美国员工。目前ofo正在西雅图寻求非盈利机构接收其投放的自行车。

Ofo当地发言人称：“As we wind down select markets, we remain committed to environmental sustainability and will continue to donate Ofo bikes in good working condition to local communities and recycle all bikes when they’re beyond repair or no longer able to use.”

Ofo公司日前向西雅图用户发布了告别电子邮件。
